The Jenny Dress
After my very first muse, The Jenny is named for my mom. Her childhood nickname, Jenny, represents the youthful spirit she has maintained for a lifetime. She passed both her sense of adventure and love of fashion to me. She encouraged me to create new items from scraps of fabric and never objected when I rummaged through her closet for something to borrow. More than anything she taught me that I didn’t need to be just one thing. I could love the outdoors as much as I loved clothes. Always leading by example, my mother taught me that I can embody many things and the beauty in being a dynamic force.
The Margaret Dress is inspired by my grandmother, whom I was named after. I have always deeply admired her and her contagious, easy laugh, never taking life too seriously. Growing up, we shared weekly ice cream dates, shaping me into who I am today. A true romantic at heart, she has been married and in love for over 60 years. Her fashion sense has never wavered and can only be described as timeless, reflected in the design of the Margaret dress.
The Margaret Dress
Named after Elizabeth, my stepmom. A woman with equal parts strength and grace, she inspires me to be stronger each day while leading with kindness. She sets this example everyday with a smile on her face. She is smart, an incredible athlete and has never chosen to be just one thing. You’re as likely to see her biking up a mountain as sipping wine in a dress, inspiring a wearable and feminine piece that can do both.
